Yotism was created with a passion to provide accessible therapies and a therapeutic community for people on the autism spectrum, adhd
Yotism was created with a passion to provide a place where people with neurodiversity and those in their community could access therapies that are more tailored towards their direct needs. It is born from Nicole’s extensive training, knowledge and experience in yoga therapy, neurodevelopmental therapies, body psychotherapy and energetic healing therapy. She put all of that into Yotism’s flagship Neurodevelopmental Yoga Therapy (NYT)

Nicole has a lifetime passionate connection for therapeutically meeting those with diverse needs. At the age of 16 she started volunteering for Mencap offering respite for families of children with profound Autism. From that moment on she has never strayed from supporting the SEN community. At 20 she trained as a yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner and Holistic Therapist and since then has grown and developed with the world of yoga as we know it now along with the opening of awareness, diagnosis and science backed information for Autism, ADHD and SEN in all its diversity.
At the point of training she immediately started teaching in mental health outpatient centres and residential adolescent mental health units. “To me it was a no brainer that yoga would be so powerfully healing to those with diverse needs or trauma and should be made as accessible as possible” she says.
After many extensive years of training with the few other great founders of adapted yoga Sonia Sumar and Jo Manuel and hundreds of hours of training in neurodevelopmental therapies. Along with a wide experience of working in schools, remedial education settings and designing and applying therapeutic listening programs with the organisation Sensory Activation Solutions she was ready for Yotism to be born.
My most recent 5 year training has been in Biodynamic Body Psychotherapy this has opened up a new and vibrant layer to the Yotism NDYT practice, of which I am so excited to share with you.
My biggest teacher to date though are my children now adults yet they still continue to provide me with the ongoing wisdom that I use for supporting and bringing healing awareness to others.

EXCELLENT Based on 3 reviews Margita Hamilton2024-11-11Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. God sent....we love it ❤️ I have a teenage son with severe learning difficulties, among other life challenges. Nicole has been recommended to us, and I wish we had found her years ago. We've been with her for over a year now and she's made a difference to our lives. Her positive , calm attitude, encouragement, and patience keep us going. My son keeps asking if it is a yoga day yet...and he is not that interested in much these days( being a teenager) .. That should be a testimony to Nicole's work in itself. ❤️ Daniela van Schagen2024-06-14Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Wow I can't believe Nicole only has one other google review, I expected her to have many many reviews, because she is so good at what she does. She can help you if you were born prematurally or via a caesarian section. This has a big impact on our nervous system. She knows how to experience baby reflexes later in life as an adult. She guides her sessions with a lot of care and fine attunement to what your nervous system needs. David Mead2021-08-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
